Many residents walk to the beach or on the boardwalk almost every day. The recently renovated boardwalk now extends all the way from 1st St. on South Beach to 82nd St. on North Beach. You will always see many people jogging, biking, rollerblading, playing volleyball, and exercising at the outdoor gyms.
North Beach provides a prolific number of choices for Latin food. Here, you will find many locals hanging out at the Argentinian, Colombian, and Venezuelan restaurants, such as Moises Bakery, sipping on cafecito (Spanish for “coffee”) and enjoying some croquetas and empanadas with Latin music.
